What is the Ultimate Purpose of the United States or Why does America Exist as a Nation

What is the Ultimate Purpose of the United States?

(In short, why does America exist as a Nation?)

Does the United States exist to increase its Gross Domestic Product or GDP? Is the Ultimate Purpose of the United States balancing the Federal Government Budget? Does the United States exist to reduce or eliminate the so-called Federal Government Debt fraudulently touted as the National Debt? Does the United States exist to resolve ideological differences or warfare between Federalists and Anti-Federalists, Liberals and Conservatives, Democrats and Republicans or the Left and the Right?

Or does the United States exist to create value outside itself for all American Citizens, through a Democratic Government or Government of the People by the People for the People, that provides each and every American Citizen, a conducive environment, equal protection under the law, equal opportunities and the essential resources he or she needs to express his or her talents, and participate fully in the production and distribution of real wealth, including goods and services, he or she consumes to sustain and enhance his or her Life, and the Environment, in order to form a more perfect union?

It is quite obvious that the latter, where the United States exists to create value including wealth outside itself for each and every American Citizen, in order to form a more perfect union, is its Ultimate Purpose. In other words, the Ultimate Purpose of the United States is to ensure the well-being or general Welfare of each and every American Citizen, and hence, the general Welfare of all American Citizens ("We the People") and subsequently, the general Welfare of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, as succinctly stated in the Preamble to the US Constitution,

“We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America”, and

Article 1: Section 8 states that,

“The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States;”

The United States is "We the People". Without "We the People", there is no United States. Thus, general Welfare of the United States is general Welfare of "We the People", general Welfare of each and every American Citizen.

Now, the Preamble to the United States Constitution lucidly defines the Core Purpose of the United States as,

“We the People of the United States” forming a more Perfect Union.

To achieve this Core or Primary Purpose, the Preamble further defines the Secondary Purposes that would lead to it, as follows:

  • Establish Justice
  • Insure Domestic Tranquility
  • Provide for the common Defense
  • Promote the General Welfare
  • Secure the Blessings of Liberty to Ourselves and our Posterity

Furthermore, the Preamble states that for “We the People of the United States” to achieve the Core Purpose and Secondary Purposes, “we ordain and establish the Constitution of the United States” to guide us.

As such, why are we American Citizens engrossed in the pursuit of GDP growth, a balanced Federal Government Budget, and reduction or elimination of the Federal Government Debt, when tens of millions of American Citizens are unemployed, millions of Americans are penniless, tens of millions of Americans have no health insurance, millions of Americans are homeless, 40 million Americans on SNAP (formerly foodstamps), and millions of Americans, especially women and children go hungry everyday in a land of immense wealth? Why are we Americans especially the Politicians still trapped in the same ideological warfare of Federalists and Anti-Federalists of the 18th Century?

We are so busy quarreling and fighting over Big Government or Small Government, GDP Growth, Federal Government Budget Deficits, Federal Government Debt, being a Federalist or Anti-Federalist, Leftist or Rightist, Liberal or Conservative, Democrat or Republican, and finally being Black or White, that we have forgotten our Ultimate Purpose, forming a more Perfect Union through the Well-being of each and every American Citizen, and hence, the general Welfare of "We the People" of the United States, and subsequently, the United States.

One contentious issue is the phrase “general Welfare”. What does this mean? To get clarity, let’s find out the meaning of “General” and “Welfare”. According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary,

“General” means, “involving, applicable to, or affecting the whole”

“Welfare” means, “the state of doing well especially in respect to good fortune, happiness, well-being, or prosperity”.

Thus, “promote the general Welfare” means that the US Government promoting the state of well being, happiness, and prosperity of the whole United States.

The next contentious issue is “promote the general Welfare” of whom, “We the People of the United States” or the “States of the United States like California, Illinois and New York”? This is a very silly contention because “We the People” of the United States are still the same “We the People” in the various States like California, Illinois and New York that comprise the United States. Without we American Citizens or “We the People”, there will be no States like California, Illinois and New York, and thus, no United States of America. People make a place, community, society or nation, not the lands, forests, houses, bridges, industries, constitution or even the nomenclature on paper. Without human beings there is no society or nation. Without “We the People of the United States” or American Citizens, there is no United States. It’s that simple and explicit. Hence, the “whole United States” means “All Americans”.

In short, the Preamble to the US Constitution explicitly informs us that the United States does not exist to increase its Gross Domestic Product or GDP, balance the Federal Government Budget, and reduce or eliminate the Federal Government Debt, falsely touted as National Debt. The United States does not exist for each and every American, especially each Politician to be a Federalist or Anti-Federalist Ideologue, Leftist or Rightist, Liberal or Conservative, Democrat or Republican. Rather, the United States exists to create value including wealth outside itself for each and every American Citizen, by our Government of the People by the People for the People, providing each Citizen, a conducive environment, equal opportunities and equal access to capital credit and money he or she needs to express his or her talents in the production and distribution of Real Wealth, including goods and services, he or she consumes to sustain and enhance his or her Life, and the Environment?

Now, in a modern society like the United States, Financial Capital Credit and Money are essential for the “general Welfare” of each and every American Citizen. No American Citizen can function in the United States without Money. Hence, how does the US Congress with a monopoly of legal tender laws to create Financial Capital Credit and Money, ensure that each and every American Citizen has his or her equal share of the commonwealth Financial Capital Credit and Money, to participate in America, Inc.?

The US Congress, General Welfare and Money

 Preamble to the US Constitution

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Under Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution, which "We the People" of the United States did ordain and establish, "We the People" of the United States authorize that:

“The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;”

To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian Tribes;

To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;

To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;

To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.

From the above, "We the People" of the United States, through the Constitution we do ordain and do establish, give the United States Congress monopoly power of legal tender laws to coin money or create money and financial credit into existence in the United States on behalf of each and every American Citizen, and thus, all American Citizens, or “We the People”.

Furthermore, "We the People" in ordaining and establishing this Constitution, prohibit anyone besides the US Government or Congress from legally creating its own financial credit or money. In fact, "We the People" gave the US Congress, the power to punish anyone else counterfeiting the Securities and Current Money of the United States.

As such, the United States Congress is obligated to give directly to each and every American Citizen, his or her share of the commonwealth Financial Credit or Money it created on behalf of "We the People", so that each and every American Citizen can use his or share to participate in the Political, Cultural, and Economic Life of Production, Distribution, and Reciprocal Exchange, to create Wealth including Goods and Services, to consume to sustain his or her Life and the Environment. The United States Congress has no Statutory Authority to funnel this commonwealth Financial Credit or Money it created on behalf of "We the People", through third parties, from whom the commonwealth Financial Credit or Money trickles down as puny residual income to wage earners, consumers and households.

In other words, "We the People" of the United States, in ordaining and establishing the United States Constitution, and authorizing the United States Congress "To coin Money" on behalf of "We the People", demand that the United States Congress democratically distribute this Coined Money to each and every American Citizen to participate in America, Inc., 1 person, 1 share. This is Economic Democracy. Anything else is a violation of the United States Constitution by the United States Congress.

 Finally and once more, "[We the people] of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America", and under Article 1, Section 8 of this United States Constitution, "We the People" of the United States authorize the United States Congress to "Coin Money" on our behalf, and democratically distribute it equally to each and every American Citizen to participate in America, Inc., thereby promoting the general welfare of each and every American Citizen, and hence, promoting the general welfare of "We the people" of the United States, and subsequently, promoting the general welfare of the United States. Only when each and every American Citizen and hence "We the People" are well-fed, well-housed and well-clothed or obtained General Welfare or sufficient well-being, can there be Justice, Domestic Tranquility, Common Defense, and Liberty, that would lead to our forming a more perfect union. This is the Ultimate Purpose of the United States or Why America exists as a Nation.

Bright Harry is the author off America, Wake Up!where he debunks the Federal Government Budget Deficit and National Debt as mere illusions, albeit extremely deadly ones, with facts, logic, mathematics and history. He succinctly describes what the Real National Deficit is - a shortfall in the money in circulation and in the hands of American Citizens compared to the Wealth of Goods and Services we have already Produced.

Taxes do not and cannot Finance a Nation

  Taxes do not and cannot Finance a Nation, and the Federal Government Taxing Clause is not the National Revenue Clause. Taxation is the means of financing the Nation. We must Tax the Super-rich to fund the Nation and rebuild our Infrastructure. We must tax all those earning at least $400,000 annually to finance the Nation. The rich must pay their fair share of taxes, instead of having tax cuts that only help them, while reducing government services on which lower-income individuals rely. Those are the words of Tax Advocates. On the other hand, tax-cut Advocates argue that cutting taxes on the rich allows them redirect their increased wealth into new or additional productive investments, which subsequently increase the productive capacity of the economy --- trickle-down economy. These are some of the arguments thrown around regarding Taxation to grow the economy and finance the Nation, especially our dilapidating Nationwide Infrastructure. These volatile and incongruent arguments ...

The United States Has No National Debt, And Thus, No National Debt Limit

The United States Has No National Debt, And Thus, No National Debt Limit   The current $31.56 Trillion Treasury Securities Holdings, the so-called U.S. Federal Government Debt, falsely touted as the U.S. National Debt, is a Monumental Fraud. Hence, Stop Destroying the United States and American Citizens with this Monumental Fraud and Fallacy of National Debt and National Debt Limit. It is shocking that in this 21st Century, we Americans are still perpetuating Alexander Hamilton's 1790 profound error of equating U.S. Treasury Securities Holdings to U.S. National Debt. No wonder the First Vice President of the United States, John Adams, wrote the following excerpt in his Letter to Thomas Jefferson on August 25. 1787.  " All the Perplexities, Confusions and Distresses in America arise not from defects in their Constitutions or Confederation, not from a want of Honour or Virtue, So much as from downright Ignorance of the Nature of Coin, Credit and Circulation .   In ...

  The $26 Trillion Treasury Securities Investments touted as the United States National Debt is a Monumental Fraud At this very moment, second by second, the US Debt Clock ( https://www.usdebtclock.org ) is flashing in bold red, $26 Trillion plus, as the United States National Debt. This $26 Trillion Treasury Securities Holdings, the so-called Federal Government Debt, falsely touted as the United States National Debt is a Monumental Fraud. As of June 11 2020, American Businesses and American Households held $19.39 Trillion worth of United States Treasury Securities, while  Foreign Countries like China, Japan, and other International Entities held $6.61 Trillion worth, making up the total $26 Trillion Treasury Securities Holdings or Investments.
