Coronavirus or COVID-19 Raises Profound Questions For Humanity

(1) Why are we human beings on this Earth? In other words, what's our purpose on this Earth?

(2) Are we here on this Earth to have jobs to earn money to live, and then die of Coronvirus? In short, must each and every human being have a job to earn money to live, and then die from Coronavirus?

(3) Are we now equating Employment to Consumption? Whether employed or not, each and every human being consumes the basics of food, shelter and clothing, to live, to survive the Coronavirus. Must we all be employed to earn Money to have the basics of food, shelter and clothing, to live and/or survive the Coronavirus? Must the unemployed die from the basics of food, shelter and clothing, and/or Coronavirus because of lack of Money or Salary from jobs?

(4) Are we here on the Earth for a few human beings (Rulers) to decide who lives and who dies from Coronavirus?

(5) Are we here on the Earth for a few human beings (Rulers and the Wealthy Elites) to decide who can have money and who cannot, to survive the deadly Coronavirus?

(6) Are we now under the spell of the Divine Right of Financial Capital or Divine Right of the few Wealthy Financial Elites that can make life and death decisions with regards to the Coronavirus, after we got rid of the Divine Right of Monarchy or Kings and Queens?

(7) Are we now under the spell of the Divine Right of Politicians who can make life and death decisions with regards to the Coronavirus, after we got rid of the Divine Right of Monarchy or Kings and Queens?

(8) Are we human beings so entrapped by the hypnotic trance of Money that we now value Money more than Life and hence, have no compunction allowing our fellow human beings die of Coronavirus because of lack of Money? 

(9) What Exactly is Money? Why did we human beings invent Money? Why is Money, a mere Electronic Number created with the pressing of a Computer Keyboard, made scarce?

(10) What Exactly is Wealth? Is Money Wealth? If Money is Wealth, why doesn't every country in the World print a lot of it to be Wealthy? If Money is not Wealth, what then is the purpose of making Money scarce, especially in this Coronavirus Pandemic environment?

(11) What is the purpose of a Corporation? Is the purpose of a Corporation to produce goods and services for consumption, to sustain and enhance Life and the Environment, or to make Money? If the purpose of a Corporation is to make Money, why doesn't the Government simply print Money and give to the Corporation, to satisfy the ultimate goal of the Corporation, Money?

(12) What is the Purpose of Science and Technology? Is the Purpose of Science and Technology to support the sustenance and enhancement of Life and the Environment, or to destroy Life and the Environment? In short, is our current Science and Technology really supporting our Society?

(13) What type of Society do we human beings really want? Are we satisfied with our current Society, especially seeing the confusion and dysfunctionality during the present Coronavirus Pandemic?

(14) What type of Political Community do we human beings really want to belong? Are we satisfied with our current Political System, especially seeing the confusion and dysfunctionality during the present Coronavirus Pandemic?

(15) What type of Economic Community do we human beings really want to belong? Are we satisfied with our current Economic System, especially seeing its confusion and dysfunctionality during the present Coronavirus Pandemic?

(16) What type of Cultural Community do we human beings want to belong? Are we satisfied with our current Culture, especially seeing the confusion and dysfunctionality during the present Coronavirus Pandemic?

(17) If we are not satisfied with our current Society, Political System, Economic System and Culture, what stops us from changing our Political System, Economic System, Culture and hence, Society to what we really want, especially during this destructive period of the Coronavirus Pandemic, when we are all locked down at home, in a reflective mode and mood?

(18) Lastly, where do we human beings go from here? Do we continue on our current path and self-destruct, or change course for our existential survival? The choice is ours and ours only.

These are profound questions for each and every human being on this Earth to ponder, or deeply reflect on. For, there are no accidents in Life. The Coronavirus Pandemic is no accident. It is a Firm Warning to each and every human being on this Earth, and thus, to all of us human beings that we must change our ways and Society immediately or self-destruct. The Laws of Mother Nature are sacrosanct. If we human beings continue to abuse Mother Nature and violate her Laws, she will wipe out billions of us pesky human beings, and those who survive will learn a very hard lesson, while picking up the pieces of their shattered Lives.

These aside, most of us may not have noticed that the Coronavirus Pandemic has reduced our carbon footprint, because billions of us are now staying home, giving us a chance to see and understand that we as a specie have the power to, and can, mitigate the destructive impact of Climate Change through our collective global actions Now, and we must all act Now, for our existential survival.

Finally, there are no Aliens from Mars, Saturn or Uranus controlling our Lives and our Societies. We humans do. We are the Co-creators of our Life Situations and our Societies through our individual and collective Thoughts, Words and Deeds. We have the choice of, continuing with our current individual and collective Thoughts, Words and Deeds and self-destruct or, changing our individual and collective Thoughts, Words and Deeds to create new and better Realities we call our World, that we really want. With the fusion of Climate Change and Coronavirus Pandemic, this may be our unique opportunity and our last chance to change our Realities or to re-imagine and recreate our World to make Life better for each and every human being, and for our existential survival. We may not have another chance. Time is not on our side.

Humanity, Wake Up. We are the Creators of Our Life Situations and our Societies on this Earth. Let's transform Our Life Situations and our Societies to what we really want, to give Life, Liberty and Human Dignity to each and every human being on this Earth, and save our only Living Planet, Mother Earth 1.0, NOW. There is no Earth 2.0.
